Who we are
Angels of Hippocrates is an approved 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that provides personal and workplace wellness retreats and CME programming for health professionals.
What we do
We provide wellness programming - but not in a boring old lecture hall! Our current programs, Happy Doc Summer Camp and Docs In The Wild, include both personal and workplace wellness tracks - at summer camp! Our host sites, Pocono Valley, has all the things you'd expect from summer camp - ropes course, hiking, climbing wall, basketball and volleyball courts - even an inflatable obstacle course! Glacier Rock Wellness Ranch is situated at the base of Mount Rainier in Randle, WA and offers relaxation and outdoor activities. And in 2023, we're hosting our first program at Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii!
Why we do what we do
According to the Medscape National Physician Burnout & Depression Report 42% of physicians experience symptoms of burnout. Worse, 300 - 400 physicians die by suicide in the U.S each year. We are here to reverse that trend. Our programs focus on personal and workplace wellness in a fun, summer camp setting!
